If you already have information in a wiki or filestore, you may want to consider bringing it into the wiki.

Importing content

  1. Think about whether you really want to bring everything into the wiki; it may be a good opportunity to start afresh and update content that hasn't been reviewed in a while
  2. If you only have a small amount of content, it may be easy to copy and paste it from your existing wiki/documents into new pages in the York Wiki. The Rich Text editor will try to retain formatting and tables
  3. If you have a large amount of content or it has complex formatting, it may be possible to automatically import it. If you'd like to try this, contact IT Support
