Dear all

Wow, we=E2=80=99ve made it to the tenth week of lockdown =E2=80=93 it seems=
 however that
restrictions are being eased.  On the epidemic front the good news is that
the number of cases seem to be collapsing and some of the information I=E2=
=80=99ve
been reading in the media suggests that by the end of June the number of
cases will be in single figures =E2=80=93 well let=E2=80=99s hope so!

I hope everyone has a nice long bank holiday weekend albeit us being
restricted.  As for me I am engaged in a long standing battle with the
horse tail weed which has infested my vegetable patch =E2=80=93 my son does=
n=E2=80=99t seem
to engage with gardening duties so my thought of sourcing some cheap
gardening labour during lockdown seems to have fallen on fallow ground!
Whilst we=E2=80=99re on the subject of useful offspring =E2=80=93 Belen has=
 sent me a video
of a =E2=80=98useful parent=E2=80=99 and a helpful son making a Spanish Oml=
ette and
Gazpacho

She has suggested that if anyone wants to have competition this weekend to

be shared on the forthcoming YTU wiki site.  May I also thank Ailish Byrne,
James Cragg and Belen Corbacho for putting together the wiki, which I
believe is due to live next Friday.
