Other support/training available

The Fellowship Coordinator can provide 1:1 support to applicants and Departments up until the submission deadline. Please allow enough time before the deadline - we are unable to guarantee help with an application if first contact is made less than a month before the funder's deadline.

The UK Research Office (UKRO) is the European office of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), that the University of York subscribes to. They have several recorded webinars that provide support for this Postdoctoral Fellowships call, including an overview (including eligibility rules), practical matters, and the process for submission and evaluation (you will need to register with UKRO to access these links). You can also contact them for free information and advice on any Horizon Europe funding.

NEW UKRO has also provided a wealth of resources through their website, including a handbook, relevant policy briefs and FAQs.

Information for Research Support Administrators

Worktribe costing

If you are preparing a Worktribe costing for a candidate, please get in touch with your contact RGO, who will be able to support you. A link to the costings template was shared via YRAF on 2 August 2021 in the email "Horizon Europe Marie Curie Costings - updated guidance for WorkTribe".

Including the supervisor's time

As per the Transparent Approach to Costing (TRAC), an estimate of the cost of the supervisor's time on the project should be included in the Worktribe costing (even though this cannot be recovered from the funder). There is no set recommended FTE, but the estimate of time spent on the project should be as accurate a reflection as possible.

If you have any queries, please get in touch with your RGO contact.
